Sutton Hoo Society: "The Society was originally established to support the work of the Sutton Hoo Research Project which undertook a long-term archaeological research excavation at the site between 1983 and 1992. Today the Society is working with the National Trust, the new owners of the site, to host visitors to the site, and continues to promote interest and support research into the site and its archaeological context through lectures, visits, publishing and events which are open to members and their guests."
