The Delaware Valley Medieval Association has more than 100 members in the tri-state area, and meets four times a year during the academic year. Founded in 1979, DVMA is affiliated with the Medieval Academy of America through its Standing Committee on Centers and Regional Associations (CARA).

It will also eventually include an online journal, MARGINALIA. Marginalia is being created by the Medieval Reading Group at the University of Cambridge.
