The Medieval History Graduate Program at Saint Louis University is one of the largest in the country, with five full-time faculty members in the Department of History alone and more than two dozen additional medievalists across campus. Students receive a broad education in medieval European history, while specializing in a variety of topics including the medieval Church, the Crusades, and the Mediterranean world. Saint Louis University has extensive resources for the medieval student, including the Vatican Film Library, a microfilm copy of most of the holding of the Vatican Library in Rome.
